Just a quick note to tell you all I added some videos from my Short's show last night. You can also find them on my YouTube channel and I should have them on Facebook and MySpace at some point in the near future!

Also, a special thanks to all those who came out last night; it was a great show and I was so happy to see so many friends and family there. Props to Jeff and Melanie who came from St. John's and all my friends from the U.P.!

Searching for meaning has got me meaningless

Searching for direct answers has left my ears a mess

Searching for recognition from the world has got me crouched on the floor

No one to know my name

With that I should be okay

But part of me wants to be greater, not for You, but for me

That's what is disturbing...without you I am as blank as an empty page

Left to my own devices, my pride and gain

But I must go to the ashes from wence I came

Before I had a name, or a song on my lips

It was your kiss that awoke me from the dead

Forgive my constant fallacy

I need so much more of you and less of me

These days are a struggle, and there is no point in asking why?

I just need your hands to pull me through

Pull me down deeper, when I want to go to the shallow for air

There is no life for me there

Pull me in deeper, and I'll fight the feeling that I'm drowning and let go of where I think is "up"

But I need your love, need your grace, need your wisdom in this uncertain place

Am I running the right pace?

Have I neglected to hear you clearly?

Was I following my own fears and ambitions instead of your voice?

If I was, or I am shake me and damn my plans

Nothing is worth doing without you

I need to hear you, and what it is that I should do

You can't make me trust you, that's something I'll have to do

But at least show me that I'm still on the right path, and wake me up if we are jumping ship

Inspire me, for my head has run dry

Hey Peeps!

Just a little update on what's going on with me. I am still currently working on my next album which shall be called...drum roll please...."Nobody"! Sorry Chaising of the Winders--maybe next time! Thanks for all the votes! I am pushing the release date back to August...it could be done sooner, and I think it will be, but that is the tentative date. I have to do some more recording up north with my fave studio here Dave Runyan Studios! On my last album my cousin Brian played guitar, and did a wonderful job. I was not that good of a player, and time was of the essence. This album, I tried to "cheat" so to speak, and have someone else play, but I've decided to re-record the guitar myself. 

I am a little nervous about this peoples, it's new territory for me...but I am excited as well--because this next album is really going to be "me". Sorry about the delays, and thanks for the pre-sales! You have raised enough for my mastering!

Recently a wonderful photographer named Danny Stewart, my husband, and our little puppy pug Otis did a photo shoot in Ann Arbor! It was so much fun, and we got lot's of great shots for the new album, as well as postcards and posters! You can see the blog he posted about me with tons of pictures from the shoot here
