Friends and Music Lovers-
It's three am now, and I am in Nashville, tracking drums in the studio. It's been a long day, all piano was tracked today. I am really pumped about the piano, because Blackberries had no piano on it whatsoever. This is really a stupendous addition to my music. My sister was gracious enough to lend her creativity and talents to this project, making it so soulful. Tomorrow we are going to record some vocals in the afternoon, and then the cello is coming in the afternoon. If you know Chris Tomlin--it's his cello player for his last album....making me pretty much BALLER! No sign of Taylor Swift yet, but our eyes are open. JL-a good friend of mine, and excellent lyricist/rapper has flown in from LA to be on a track that is going to be recorded completely live. We actually will record it in a few minutes...before we run out of studio time in 45 minutes. It's crazy...there is lot's of red bull here, and mountain dew--I am snacking on sixlets at the moment. Just thought I'd let you know a few cool things that are coming up for me! First of all, I know many of you are waiting for my next album--and I am excited to tell you I believe all the songs are written, and I've chosen a studio in Nashville for this next project! My next album is going to be a bit different than my last...but still very Jetty. The title of my sophomore album is going to be "Nobody." 

I've had a few people interested in working with me, so it was really neat that I didn't have to look for a new studio or producer. The guy I'm working with really has a talent for arrangement! Which I am really excited about. I am looking to record by March, perhaps I could eclipse the same date of release as my last album? We will see! Just wanted you to know, it's coming--soon! And of course I will put my new music up on here asap! As well as Itunes, and Amazon...God willing!

A few other cool things-I have been a member of "Ourstage.com" for almost a year now--and they have been super instrumental in promoting my music! Apparently they nominated me for one of the "Best pop acts of 2008." Very cool. If you aren't on ourstage, you can sign up and vote for music! I am under the acoustic category!

In other news, it looks like I have been nominated for a Jammie Award--which is a Michigan award. You can vote for me and my album Blackberries as well!
